Ambassador

Semir Halilović (1981), lawyer, sociologist, Master of Economics and Doctor of Political Sciences. Student of the generation studying Sociology, and doctoral studies in Political Science. He is the recipient of the “Silver Badge” award from the University of Sarajevo. During his business career, he worked as an investigator and defense assistant in the trials before the International Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, head of the BPS Communications Bureau, and in legal teams in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He also performs the duties of a representative in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and a member of the management of the Environmental Protection Fund. He is a member of the Council for Foreign Policy of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Author of two historical and political research books, “State Secret” and “Assassination”. Author and screenwriter of the historical-political series “Bosnia – the fate of a reshaped country”. He has published several scientific and professional works in the field of political science, sociology and political marketing, in university and academic journals in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and he participates many times in scientific conferences from the spectrum of his own scientific and research field.
