Organized by the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Doha, the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage of Qatar and Cultural Village Foundation Katara, in Doha on 25 January 2016, a concert of classical music was performed by young talents of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The participants of the concert were students of Primary school for music and ballet Novo Sarajevo and the School for elementary music education East New Sarajevo. Young musicians performed in the halls of the Cultural Foundation Katara, where they played world famous compositions on piano, violin, saxophone, trumpet, guitar and accordion.
At the beginning of the concert, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Qatar Tarik Sadovic expressed his satisfaction with the arrival of young talents from Bosnia and Herzegovina in Qatar, thanked the Ministry of Culture and the Cultural Village Foundation Katara for their generous help and support in organizing the show, adding:
“Our young musicians from two music schools in Sarajevo in two entities, represent the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Muhamed, Ognjen, Leo, Emil, Isak and Farah represent the potential of our younth. We believe that their friendly visit to Qatar shows not only the richness of our diversity but also symbolizes our hope for a better future expressed in universal language of music. Even though we can not change the past, we can still work together for a better future. Music enriches our souls and brings people together. I sincerely hope that this concert will be an initiative for better cultural cooperation between our two countries. “
Director General of the Cultural Foundation Dr. Khalid Al-Sulaiti expressed his satisfaction with the organization of the concert of young talents from Bosnia and Herzegovina. He pointed out that this is the second cultural and artistic event organized in cooperation with Cultural Village Foundation Katara, and expressed his sincere wishes that there will be more of such events in the future.
