Under the patronage of hh the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, he Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali opened on November 30 the 27th edition of the Doha International Book Fair with the participation of 490 publishing houses from 33 countries. HE Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Dr. Ghaith bin Mubarak Al Kuwari attended the opening along with he Minister of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs, Dr. Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaim; he Minister of Development Planning and Statistics, Dr. Saleh bin Mohammed Al Nabit; he Minister of Transport and Communications, Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti.
Ambassador B&H h.e.Tarik Sadović attended the opening along with a large number of heads and members of diplomatic missions accredited to the country and a group of authors and intellectuals.
