Qatar and Bosnia and Herzegovina signed several memorandums of understanding and a twinning agreement following a session of official talks between HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani and the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdic at the Emiri Diwan on 19th 2018. During the talks, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways of developing and enhancing them in various fields, and reviewed regional and international developments of common concern, especially the situation in the region. Following the talks, HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister and the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina witnessed the signing of the following memorandums of understanding:
- An MoU in the health sector, drug production and employment of health workers.
- An MoU on co-operation in youth field.
- An MoU on education, higher education and scientific research.
Separately, a twinning agreement between the municipality of Doha city and the City of Sarajevo was also signed. Several ministers attended the session of official talks and the signing ceremony of the agreement and the memorandums of understanding, along with the members of the accompanying official delegation from the Bosnian side. HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdic held a bilateral meeting during which they reviewed a number of issues of common concern. Later, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdic and his accompanying delegation.
