Minister of Economy and Commerce, HE Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed al Thani, opened the 15th edition of “Project Qatar 2018” on May 8th 2018 in Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. Minister said: “Project Qatar is an important platform that has gathered a large number of international companies and institutions involved in the construction sector over 15 years.” Highlighting the role of the construction sector in supporting Qatar’s efforts to diversify its national economy, the minister added that the growth of this sector in light of the state’s keenness to channel its expenditures to support major development projects being undertaken to achieve the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 is remarkable. Being held under the patronage of the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani, the international trade exhibition for construction technology, building materials, equipment and environmental technology, is seeing participation of 280 international exhibitors from 21 countries, as well as 126 local companies. Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the State of Qatar, HE Tarik Sadović, attended the opening ceremony.
